How to do it
-
Pick your photos
Tap Collage on the home screen, pick your Live Photos on the Pick photos for a collage screen, then tap Add. Standard ratios hold up to 20 photos, and Long strip holds up to 30.

Choose how it moves
With a Live Photo in the collage, you can choose All at once, One by one, or Spotlight. One by one needs at least two Live Photos. Long strip doesn’t show the motion choices and always plays All at once.
-
Change the ratio, layout, and background
Tap the ratio button to switch between 3:4, 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, and Long strip. Tap Shuffle layouts for new arrangements. For the background, choose Auto, which takes its color from your photos, or one of the solid colors and gradients.
-
Export and save
Tap Export, choose Live Photo, Video, or Still image, then tap Save to Photos or Share.
Three ways a Live Photo collage can move
- All at once: every Live Photo plays together.
- One by one: they play one after another in the order you took them, with their original sound.
- Spotlight: one fills the whole collage, plays, then returns to the collage.
Choose Still image when you export if you want a regular picture.
Where is the collage saved?
Once you save it, it’s saved once, in the PicWay Creations album in the Photos app. You’ll also find it in PicWay’s Creations, where you can open or share it again. Deleting it from Creations doesn’t remove the copy you saved in your photo library. One you never saved to Photos can’t be recovered.
Can I make one without opening PicWay?
Yes. Select photos in the Photos app, tap Share, and choose PicWay’s collage action. You can also add the quick-collage widget to your Home Screen.
