Frame

Where, when,
and with what.

An info bar under your photo,
filled in from the photo itself.

To add a border to a photo on iPhone, open it in PicWay, tap Edit, then Frame. Pick Info bar, Instant, Thin, or Wide, and a color: White, Black, Cream, or Warm gray. Info bar fills in the camera, the settings, and the date and place from the photo itself. Turn any line off, or write your own.

Three steps

How do I add a border
with camera info?

  • 1. Open Frame

Open a photo in PicWay, tap Edit, then tap Frame.

  • 2. Tap Info bar

A band appears under the photo with three lines: the camera, the settings (like focal length, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO), and the date and place.

  • 3. Make it yours

Tap a line to turn it off. Tap the pencil to write your own line instead of the camera name.

Four looks

Pick a frame

Each comes in White, Black, Cream, or Warm gray.

  • Info bar

A band along the bottom with camera, settings, date, and place.

  • Instant

Narrow on three sides, wide at the bottom, with room for one line of text.

  • Thin and Wide

A plain edge on all four sides. Wide works well for square posts.

No border needed

Just want the date
on the photo?

In Markup, tap Stamp. Choose Date, Place, Date · Place, or Camera, and PicWay fills it in from the photo. Or pick Custom and type your own.

  • It’s just text

A stamp is a piece of text on the photo, so you can change its font and size like any other text.

  • From the photo’s own details

The date, place, and camera come from the photo’s info. Nothing is typed by hand unless you want to.

  • Videos too

Frame and Markup are also in the editor for videos and Live Photos.
