# Tidy your iPhone photos one year or month at a time

In PicWay, tap Time at the bottom of your photos. Choose Year or Month. Each year or month card has a Start tidying button that opens a review of that period.

## How to do it {#steps}

1. **Tap Time**: In PicWay, tap Time at the bottom of your photos.
2. **Choose Year or Month**: In the little menu that opens, choose Year or Month.
3. **Tap Start tidying**: Find the year or month you want. Tap Start tidying on its card to review those photos.

With PicWay you can pick one stretch of time and go through just those photos, one at a time, with swipes.

## What does Start tidying do? {#start-tidying}

On a year card, it tidies that year’s photos. On a month card, it tidies that month’s photos. You then swipe through them the usual way: by default, right to keep and left to set aside.

## Will the photos I keep show up again? {#keep-comes-back}

In a review of a year or month, photos you keep don’t come back in the first pass. They return only after you finish and confirm you want to look again. See [Will photos I keep come back in a review?](https://picway.app/faq/#keep-comes-back).
