Open Photos, tap Collections, then Live Photos under Media Types. Tap Select, pick your Live Photos, tap the three-dot button, and choose Save as Video, according to MacRumors. Apple’s own guide covers one at a time and suggests iMovie to combine the videos. PicWay can export a Live Photo collage as a video.

## How to do it {#steps}

1. **Find your Live Photos**: Open the Photos app, tap Collections, scroll to Media Types, and tap Live Photos.
2. **Select several**: Tap Select in the top-right corner, then tap each Live Photo you want so a checkmark appears on it.
3. **Save as Video**: Tap the button with three dots in the top-right corner and choose Save as Video. Your new video appears in Recently Saved.

## What does Apple document? {#apple-docs}

Apple’s guide covers one Live Photo at a time: select it in Media Types, tap More, choose Save as Video. The new video is in Recently Saved, and the Live Photo stays in the Live Photos album ([Apple](https://support.apple.com/en-us/105029)). Apple adds that you can use iMovie to combine multiple videos created from Live Photos.

## Does it work for several at once? {#several-at-once}

MacRumors describes selecting several Live Photos and choosing Save as Video to join them into one video ([MacRumors](https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/turn-several-live-photos-into-video-iphone/)). That article dates from January 2026, so menus may differ on your iOS version.

| Method | Result |
| --- | --- |
| Save as Video on one Live Photo | One short video per photo |
| Select several, then Save as Video | One video from the selection (per MacRumors) |
| iMovie | Combine the separate videos |

## Can PicWay make one moving video? {#picway}

PicWay’s Live Photo collage can export as a **Live Photo** or as a **Video**. See [how to make a Live Photo collage that really moves](https://picway.app/guides/live-photo-collage/).

## Does Save as Video delete the Live Photo? {#keeps-original}

Apple’s guide says the Live Photo remains accessible in the Live Photos album ([Apple](https://support.apple.com/en-us/105029)).
